A lot of new entries in this week’s charts, including the top two spots Battlefield: Bad Company and Beijing 2008. Also of note, to us at least, is Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath, which we will try to get around to looking at later on in the week.

Grand Theft Auto IV has spent 9 weeks in the Xbox 360 charts now, and even though you can’t quite see it because it’s languishing in 11th place this week, Call of Duty IV: Modern Warfare is enjoying its 24th week in the top twenty. Maybe it’ll be back next week to feature in the top ten again.

Last week’s number 1, Alone in the Dark, hasn’t fared so well dropping to 4th and Lego Indiana Jones faced the furthest fall from grace by dropping five places from 3rd to 8th. Top Spin 3 is the only title in the top ten that has actually risen any places, moving up from 7th to 6th.

On a personal note, I’m quite surprised to see The Bourne Conspiracy enter so high. Granted the whole series of films have been great, but how often do great films make bad games? But then, I suppose, even the Xbox 360 is going to have to face them.
