Rock Band Limited Edition Ion Drum Kit And New Tracks
Until RockBand was released there was a serious glut of Xbox 360 accessories beyond those that are included in one or more of the package deals. Peripherals were something that other consoles and computers did, but RockBand has ensured that blogs and websites alike will finally be able to update the accessories and peripherals page like never before.
So, without further ado, here’s news on the limited edition Ion styled Rock Band drum kit. For those of you not in the loop, as it were, Ion is a fairly major name in actual real world drum kits and the new Xbox 360 set is strongly stylised to match. A couple of reports I’ve read also state that because the Rock Band set includes a couple of extra cymbals and the such, it can actually and genuinely be used as a full on electronic drum kit.
A quick update for you all - Ion Audio has announced that they are now taking pre-orders on the limited edition Ion drum kit for Rock Band 2. It’s available at $300 for the XBox 360 version and you can pre-order from the official drumrocker website. There’s no updates regarding a PS3 or Wii version but, while you can’t pre-order in any other country, there are plans to release the Ion Drumrocker in other countries.
Xbox360fanboy also has a list of confirmed tracks to date, as well as seven new ones, for your to delight over. Rock Band 2 looks geared up and ready to be a serious release in what is undoubtedly going to become one of the biggest and best series of Xbox 360 games released.
Almost Easy (Avenged Sevenfold)- Bad Reputation (Joan Jett)
- I Was Wrong (Social Distortion)
- Livin’ On A Prayer (Bon Jovi)
- Rock’n Me (Steve Miller Band)
- Testify (Rage Against the Machine)
- White Wedding Pt. 1 (Billy Idol)
For those that are desperate for more news on the set list, and undoubtedly a number of other features, you’ll just have to wait until E3. Fortunately, of course, that starts on Monday.
