Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2 is released on Xbox Live Arcade today and promises to expand upon the retro acid flash back that was the original smash hit.

6 game modes enable players to take on waves of baddies single handedly or in competitive or co-operative mutiplayer modes.

Microsoft has announced today that they will be releasing exclusive short films that bring together some of the greatest horror directors and comedy directors and offering the results to all Xbox Live users for free.

The free short films will be available from October onwards.
